Dallington Parish Assembly 2022 – 19.04.22

The Dallington Parish Assembly 2022 will be held on 19.04.22 at 7.30pm in Dallington Village Hall.
This is very much a social event and a great opportunity to meet up with old friends, make new ones and all the Dallington organisations/clubs have also been invited.
It is a great chance to ask questions/find out what is going on etc., and your County and District Councillors will also be there.
It is a very informal evening, we do hope you will come along and join us  – have a glass of wine with us (soft drinks also available).

6. Dallington Parish Assembly 2022

The Dallington Parish Assembly 2022 will be held on 19.04.22 at 7.30pm. It is not a council meeting, but a gathering of the Dallington community and those involved in it. It is informal and friendly and a chance to catch up with friends, have a glass of wine and mingle.

7. The Queen’s 70th Jubilee

To finalise the actions necessary to celebrate this jubilee, some ideas are:

  • A memorial bench (circular with plaque, on the Carricks Hill triangle).
  • A flagpole on the DRG.
  • A “Bit of a Do” at the DRG, possible dates are 06.06.22 – 11.06.22, asking the Dallington community to join us at the DRG, bring a picnic, have a glass of wine on DPC, some music and light the beacon.

Winter Solstice Celebration 21st December 2021

The Dallington Winter Solstice Celebration is back!

It will take place on Dallington beacon burning
Tuesday 21st December
at The Sugar Loaf Field (Dallington Recreation Ground) from 7pm for lighting the beacon at 7.30pm.

Refreshments will be provided, including jacket potatoes, mince pies, soft drinks and mulled wine.

For anyone concerned about going into crowded spaces, please be reassured that we will be outside as much as possible. We hope the weather will be kind – but the beacon will be lit whatever the weather!
