To approve by resolution the following:

8.4 The Explanation of Variances and Bank Reconciliation at 31.03.24.

8.5 To thank Mr. Wines for the constructive and positive manner in which he conducted the internal audit for DPC 2023-24, and to appoint him as DPC’s internal auditor for 2024-25.

9. Dallington Recreation Ground

To receive an update on work done and necessary works in hand, mainly the pavilion.

  • Quotes for a new pedestrian gate, hedge clearing and infill of large dip by the car park. (ACTION CHAIR)
  • PAT testing is required for pavilion electrical equipment (ACTION CLERK)

10. Re-adoption/amendments to DPC’s council documents

As NALC have just issued updated Financial Regulations, this item will not be discussed and moved to the agenda for the July meeting.

Village Hall Events May 2024

Apologies for late posting. The Saturday Library Cafe & Plant Sale was advertised separately and has now taken place.  Lots of lovely plants donated by a few good gardeners which helped raise money towards the cost of hall maintenance. As the season is late this year,  many people are still waiting to get going with seed sowing and planting, so we will offer further ‘plant & seed tables’ at the next few Saturday morning sessions (first Saturday of each month, 10-12) so please keep an eye open and share what you can.

Remaining events this month:

    • Art Club 10-12
    • Library Café 2-4pm

Dallington Parish Assembly 2024 – 16.04.24

The Dallington Parish Assembly 2024 will be held on 16th April in Dallington Village Hall, starting at 7.30pm.
It is not a parish council meeting, but a chance to ask questions/raise concerns to your County and District Councillors, find out what the clubs and organisations in our village have been doing and their future plans.
Also an opportunity to meet new friends and catch up with old ones.
It is an informal and friendly occasion and light refreshments will be available.
