Stella did not resign from Dallington Parish Council, she told the Members she was not standing for re-election on 02.05.19 due to other commitments.
We will miss her and wish her well (especially with her beloved horses).

Our Tree Warden, Doug Edworthy, has put together a very helpful short summary of the official advice – essential reading for any landowners who may have ash trees on their land, especially if these are near a boundary. Please read carefully – action now could save major problems and costs in the future.
The planned road closure for patching works at Earlsdown (B2096) on 04.07.19, for one night, has been postponed.

Over the past few years we have all been thinking about WW1. At Dallington tower we rang to commemorate the 100 years since the Armistice and Peace in 1918, on 11/11/2018.
A ringer from Rainham in Kent designed this badge for all ringers to wear in future years especially on Remembrance Day. We have put our orders in and await the arrival. Diana Day

South Lane, land adjoining Dallington TN21 9NJ – widening of field gate access, hardening of existing track and construction of vehicle turning area for forestry and woodland management associated vehicle use.

The closure will be from South Lane to Middle Lane from 7pm to 6am.
