D-Day 80th Anniversary – Dallington Beacon Lighting
The Dallington Beacon was lit at 9.15pm on the evening of 6th June, like all others in the UK.
To honour those who took part on D-Day and to remember those who fell.
Beacon lighting – 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings in Normandy
Dallington will join sites across the country on Thursday 6th June 2024 to light a beacon to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings in Normandy.
All are welcome to attend at the Recreation Ground from 8.45pm to see the beacon lit at 9.15pm.
