Dallington Parish Assembly 2020 (21.04.20)
Come along and join us on Tuesday 21.04.20 at the Dallington Parish Assembly 2020, enjoy a glass of wine with us and meet the people from our Dallington organisations, find out what they are doing and meeting up with friends and neighbours.
The Assembly starts at 7.00pm in the Village Hall, it is not a parish council meeting, it’s very friendly and informal and a great chance for us all to get together.
Please come back to me, Irene (Parish Clerk) if you need any further information.

Police Message – sheep worrying in Dallington
I’ve just received this message from Sussex Police –
4 large black dogs were seen sheep worrying in Dallington on Christmas Eve. Thankfully none of the sheep were badly injured, but police would like to trace the dogs’ owner. One border collie and possibly 3 German Shepherds. If you have any information please contact rural PCSO Julie Pearce-Martin by email on julie.pearcemartin@sussex.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101 and quoting crime reference 0906 of 24/12/2019.

Sussex Uncovered 3
In November, the Sussex Community Foundation published its report – Sussex Uncovered 3.
It is a data-fuelled report that looks at the needs and strengths of Sussex – East, West and Brighton and Hove. A key finding is that homelessness has risen dramatically in parts of Sussex, with many more individuals and families on the edge of losing their homes.

RIP Dallington Forest’s “PoW” Tree
Sadly our PoW tree has fallen, as expected. The tree was around 250 years old. Click on the link below to see all the details from the Dallington Tree Warden.

If you receive an email from “me,” – from irene.marchant@alphaproject.net and the reply email address is irene.marchantv@btinternet.com – PLEASE DELETE IMMEDIATELY AND DO NOT CLICK ANY LINKS.
This is a strange one and BT are looking into it. My BT email address has not been active for some 6/7 years and did not have the “v” in it.
I’ve run a full scan on all my devices and they are safe.
