Next week is Village Halls Week (16th – 22nd March) an annual event which this year is highlighting the importance of village halls to the health and wellbeing of rural communities across the country.
So here’s a quick reminder of what’s happening in our village hall this week. In particular do come along to Anna Dolphin’s guest talk on Monday afternoon:
- MONDAY 16th March 10am to 12 noon ART CLUB
A sociable and informal weekly group with varied levels of experience and confidence. So whether you are a complete beginner or want to develop your existing skills, do come along and find out if it’s for you. - MONDAY 16th March 2-4pm LIBRARY CAFE
As well as the usual chance to browse and borrow a large collection of books, or just enjoy a cup of tea and a chat, this week we are delighted to welcome back Anna Dolphin from AbilityNet. After her previous sessions on getting the most from technology, and staying safe online, Anna will be showing how to access and use the NHS app, find reliable health information online, and answering any other questions you may have. - TUESDAY 17th March at 7.30 pm DALLINGTON PARISH COUNCIL
All welcome. You can find the agenda here - THURSDAY 19th March at 7pm VILLAGE HALL ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Do come along to meet the current management committee, find out what’s been happening and to have your say on future activities in the hall. - FRIDAY 20th March Private monthly meeting for meditation and relaxation. Please get in touch if you’d like to be put in touch with the organiser for more details
The Hall and Billiard Room are also available for private hire at other times. Find out more at the Village Hall webpage
