Rubbish Collections
Regular rubbish collections from the village currently take place on Fridays, alternating between dustbin collection and kerbside recycling (papers, plastics etc). Recycling
There is a comprehensive East Sussex County Council recycling centre next to the Heathfield Market site on the Burwash Road. It is normally open at the following times:
- April to end September: Monday to Sunday 9am to 6pm
- October to end March: Monday to Saturday 8am to 4pm, Sunday 9am to 4pm
- Bank Holidays: Open to usual hours

Please note that the bins outside Dallington Primary School are solely for the school’s own use.
