The church was a busy, happy place over Christmas. The floodlights were on for all of the services and we were blessed with the bells being rung before the Carol Service, Christmas Eve Midnight and to ring in the New Year. The Christmas tree was in place for the children’s end of term service and was also admired by all of the adult visitors. We have been very lucky for so many years to have the gift of a beautiful tree from Peter and Rita Atkinson, and, once again, it took six strong chaps to lift it into position. Decorating morning is always rounded off with lunch from Pam and John. A happy church family celebration of the saviour ‘s birth.
